Carlo Goldoni's house

Carlo Goldoni is a symbol of Venice, he was one of the greatest playwright and librettist in history.

In year 1750 he was able to create 16 different plays, maybe a world record; among them La bottega del caffè, La famiglia dell’antiquario, Il teatro comico, Il Bugiardo, Il Campiello, La Locandiera, Le Donne Curiose, La Casa Nova, I Rusteghi, Sior Todero Brontolon, Le Baruffe Chiozzotte.

Goldoni was famous because his plays were all about Venice and the Veneto region and in Venetian dialect.
His house in Venice, known as Ca’ Centani was built in XV century and has now become a Museum dedicated to Carlo Goldoni, to his life and works, we recommend to visit it.
