Dorsoduro Museum Mile

The Dorsoduro Museum Mile, was named in this way in 2015, to underline the short distance (about a mile) separating the buildings, comprises the Accademia Galleries, the Casa Museo Palazzo Cini, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the Punta della Dogana.

An ideal and phisical itinerary, that allows the visitor to enjoy in a short time a unique artistic proposal: from the medieval, Renaissance and eighteenth century art at the Accademia Galleries and the museum house of Palazzo Cini, to the contemporary art and the innovative exhibitions of the Guggenheim Museum and the Punta della Dogana.

A millennium of history of Italian and world art enclosed a mile, a unique cultural experience that will allow at the same time to discover the beautiful Dorsoduro sestiere (district), nestled between the Grand Canal and the Giudecca Canal.
